In the International Standard Bible Encyclopedia, an ambassador is an official representative of a King or Government.

Ambassador in the Old Testament is the Hebrew word “tsir” , meaning “one who goes on an errand,” is rendered thus ( Joshua 9:4 ; Proverbs 13:17 ; Isaiah 18:2 ; Jeremiah 49:14 ; Obadiah 1:1 ). This is also the rendering of melits , meaning “an interpreter,” in 2 Chronicles 32:31 ; and of “malak” , a “messenger,” in 2 Chronicles 35:21 ; Isaiah 30:4 ; 33:7 ; Ezekiel 17:15 . This is the name used by the apostle as designating those who are appointed by God to declare his will ( 2 Corinthians 5:20 ; Ephesians 6:20 ).

Yahweh tells us that we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called us out of darkness into his marvellous light. 1 Peter 2:9. We have been rescued from the domain of darkness, and we’ve been transferred to the kingdom of His beloved Son. Colossians 1:13. That our citizenship is in heaven. Philippians 3:20. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us… 2 Corinthians 5:20-21.

Our Lord and Saviour Yeshua, is “The Perfect Ambassador of the Kingdom of God. The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. Colossians 1:15 Yeshua also said in John 14:9, “If you had known me, you should have known my Father also: and from henceforth you know him, and have seen him”

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. John 1:1-4

“And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14”

When Yeshua lived on earth, the New Testament did not yet exist. A period of forty years separates the death of Yeshua from the writing of the first gospel. When He walked on earth He was teaching the Torah (the first five books of the Old Testament) and He was sharing the gospel of the Kingdom of God.

It is eye-opening to compare the gospel Yeshua proclaimed with the gospel preached in most churches today. Yeshua did not go around asking people to “give their hearts to Him/ the Lord” and say a short prayer so they could be saved. Numerous scriptures plainly record the clear message that “Yeshua came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying… the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:14–15).

A true Ambassador of Yeshua, lives his/her life according to Galatians 2:20. “I have been crucified with Yeshua; and it is no longer I who live, but Yeshua lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me”

We need to deny ourselves, take our cross daily and follow Him. Seeking first His Kingdom and righteousness.

Its all about dying unto ourselves and to live our lives in and through Him, by letting His Word become flesh in us, then we will be able to walk in the Spirit, and the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control) will blossom through us and other people will start to see Yeshua (Jesus) walking, talking living His life in and trough us.

When I came to know our Lord and Saviour Yeshua, my life was turned upside down. I lived for fourteen months every day on my knees, praying and fasting, repenting from all my sins, iniquities and transgressions. I literally experienced myself dying unto my flesh. God had to work in all the areas of life.

I had lived in so much darkness and rebellion when I was living in the world and when Yeshua came and made His dwelling place in my heart, I could see all my sins flashing in front of my eyes and I saw my nakedness and my life of rebellion towards God. When I was confronted with the truth that is in Him, His righteousness and holiness, I could no longer hide my sins, iniquities or transgressions. All my darkness, a life of lies, my filthiness everything got exposed into His marvellous light.

The only thing I could do, was repenting day and night. Every time I thought I was ready… so much more filth came out of me.

Their were times I didn’t think  I would ever make it. I was only crying and was in so much agony and pain.

His double-edged sword, penetrated even to the dividing of my soul and spirit, my joints and marrow; it judged the thoughts and attitudes of my heart. I felt so ashamed to know that I had brought this abomination upon a Holy and most Loving God, Yeshua.

My soul needed to be delivered from so many unclean spirits, I was bound in darkness to some big and heavy chains.

I needed to be healed from all my brokenness, terror and pain. Washed from all my iniquities, sanctified from all my uncleanness by the truth of His living Word.

Today I live a life fully restored in Christ, having a close and intimate relationship with Him. I am a free woman, delivered from all darkness living my life in His perfect will. I have been redeemed, I am healed mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Having received forgiveness for all my sins.

I praise Him for His grace and mercy, for saving me from eternal destruction and hell. For giving me the assurance that I am protected and covered by His blood. I walk daily in communion with my living God, He has blessed me abundantly in all the areas of my life!

I want to encourage you… not to be afraid to surrender your “all”unto Him, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of His return. Read and study the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, for you need both “The Word” and “The Spirit” to be complete in Him.

Be an ambassador of Yeshua by Loving Him with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, and by loving your neighbour as yourself. Follow him, study Him, trust Him, believe His Word and be obedient to what He tells you to do.

Spend your daily quality time with Him in prayers, His word and worship Him.

Tell others about all the wonders and miracles He has done in your life, giving Him all the Glory and Praise He only deserves.

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human mind has conceived”, the things God has prepared for those who love him.

Praise be to Adonai , The King of Kings, The Lord God Almighty, YHVH is his name.
